About Bex

Bex is a yoga teacher based in North London.

She first found yoga in her early twenties, while in recovery for an eating disorder. Through the practice, Bex began to recognise her body as home and settle into herself.. This homecoming and the simple joy of mindful movement inspired Bex to take her first yoga teacher training in 2019; and she has since completed over five hundred additional hours of training.

Bex is also a passionate advocate for maternal wellness and community support, driven by her own experiences of perinatal depression throughout her first pregnancy. Recognising a lack of community for women beyond traditional antenatal environments, she embarked on a journey to create nurturing spaces for expectant and new mothers that now include online and in-person perinatal yoga classes, daytime and overnight retreats, as well as an online support group and various community events to encourage bonding and shared experiences for women on their maternal journeys.
